Love the Batman reference! Beware the Gray Ghost was one of my favorite episodes.
Gray Ghost is my work pomade. Crystal Lake is my everyday product. I work 10 hour days and it it keeps my hair in shape from punch in to punch out. Nice scent, long lasting but my hair isn't stiff or looks gelled over. Leaves a great natural look. I've gotten compliments about how soft my hair is (yes, a coworker literally petted my head like a dog and said how soft my hair was 🐶)
I learned the hard way with pulled hairs and longer than usual applications that this product is best applied for me on towel dried hair. Too wet and the product smears, even a quarter sized amount. If it's dry it'll drag through your head and pull hairs. Not necessarily as creamy as the name would suggest, Crystal Lake is definitely creamier. But I like the matte finish, the day long hold and the subtle scent
I just want to say I’ve tried about 70 different products from collaborations to one offs to commercial products and never been able to find something that works for me and my strange thick puffy wavy hair type. Until I found Crystal Lake, after that I tried Northern Lights (still one of my favorite products I’ve ever had the pleasure to try), and then man I’m gonna be real Gray Ghost is hands down 100% the BEST product I’ve ever used, the texture, strength, application, scent, washability, everything is amazing about it.
Can’t get enough of Shear Revival! When I first started branching out into different hair products in my teens, I ran into a problem. Acne. I never really had it until I discovered pomade.
It was bad. I tried everything, including water based pomades to get away from the oil. American Crew. Imperial. Baxter’s. Suavecito. No dice. Part of it was a poor skin care regimen, but no matter how well I addressed this, every pomade I tried made it worse.
When I switched to Crystal Lake and Gray Ghost, it solved the problem! I was so happy when I noticed after a week, two weeks, a month, and so on, that I wasn’t breaking out anymore. I love these ingredients and I love these products! I recommend them to all my friends, especially those with sensitive skin like me. Thanks for helping me look good and restore my confidence!
Gray Ghost scoops out creamy. However, applying it to my hair was very harsh. To give you some context, I apply to dry hair. In order to achieve my desired style, I need to blow-dry and straighten my hair. Overall, it's a good product, and last the whole day. I just wish it was easier to apply to dry hair.
I’m the biggest fan of Shear Revival products there is. And I absolutely love all of the shear revival line and when I heard this one was coming out, I was so excited to pick it up right away once it released. Crystal Lake is my Go-To Water Based and The One Who Knocks is my go to Oil Based. But sadly it didn’t work for me. I tried this product twice and I probably won’t use it again, it didn’t really give me good control and when a product dosent give good control I basically know how it’s going to end up. I tried it in Damp, in dry, as a prestyler then blow drying, I tried it different ways to see if I could get it to work for me but sadly I could not. I’m glad to see it does work for other people though..wish I could say the same. Rest of Shear Revival line is awesome though
