Northern Lights Matte Paste
Northern Lights was created out of our love for natural texture and looks in the hair care industry. Getting my start in the salon industry, creating a product like this has always been a goal for me. I truly believe we're bridging a gap between healthy home-brewed & chemical based cosmetic lab-made products. We always get the job done with the hair & scalps health in mind.
For best results: Northern Lights should be applied in dry hair. The product stays malleable all day and washes out 100% with shampoo.

I first tried shear revival a couple years ago when I decided to buy Crystal Lake. Very good unorthodox water based pomade. Ever since crystal lake I began experimenting other shear revival products. Although all their products are very good, By far northern lights is my favorite. In my opinion it is one of, if not the best, matte pastes on the market. And it’s handmade so I know that there is only quality products made by hand giving a sense of security for my hair. Great hold, easy to restyle. Great resistance. Smells great and washes out with one wash. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for more.
I ended up throwing my Northern Lights paste away. I would do as the instructions indicated and rub a small amount between my palms, which would turn the paste into a sticky mess. It was so tacky, I couldn't ever get it to finger comb through my hair without it a) clumping together or b) breaking strands of my hair. I tried a few different techniques for getting it into my hair but none of them worked.
I just ordered a new jar after going without it for about a year and I must say it’s still so great and even better than I remember. A lot of products try to achieve similar results but none can match the value of Northern Lights for $17. If you have not tried it yet and are a pomade enthusiast it’s a definite must try.
This gave great volume to my hair and left an amazing scent behind.
This gives a lot of texture in my hair and i would recommend it.
