Music is one of the most important things in the world to me. Whether I’ve been playing in a band, touring across the US, fumbling with a guitar, or even just playing records at home, it’s always been a part of my routine and such a vital part of how Shear Revival got started. The DIY ethic I gained from being in a band laid the groundwork for Shear Revival’s ethos & mission. Everyone that works for Shear loves & appreciates music. Some of us have toured, worked in the music industry, or just have a calendar that’s regularly packed with concerts. It absolutely moves this place.

With that being said, we want to give back to the musicians that haven given us the soundtrack to our lives. We’d like to introduce SHRED FOR SHEAR. SFS is a program available for any and ALL touring musicians. Whether you want to admit it or not, keeping clean & feeling fresh on the road can sometimes prove to be much harder than it should be. We want to change that. We’d like to sponsor 3 touring musicians/bands this fall and send them customized Shear Revival care packages full of products, accessories, and apparel to keep them feeling good while putting the work in. We're running this project through Instagram so head there to participate but here are the details.

Eligibility criteria: The artist(s) must be going on tour for a minimum of seven (7) consecutive days and have a mailing address within the United States. 

Nomination Deadline: Sept 10, 2023 @ 11:59 pm ET.

Depending on the number of nominations, Shear Revival may narrow it down to no more than 10 eligible nominees. These nominees will be voted on through Shear Revival IG stories. Voting will take place between Sept 12-14. Winners will be announced no later than September 15th, 2023. Winners will be shared on SR IG and contacted directly via DM to ensure they receive their prize. A short survey will be sent to the winner to get necessary info to curate the prize box and gather shipping info.

Prizes: Each winning musician/group/band will win customized SR care packages full of products, accessories, and apparel to keep them feeling good while putting the work in. 

Prizes include: Travel shampoo & conditioner per person, (1) shampoo & body bar per person, (1) styling product per person, (1) all natural deodorant per person (1) comb per person, and accessories which include an assortment of apparel, hats, soap savers, and guitar picks.

Multiple entries from the same user, fake accounts, or not following the rules will automatically be disqualified. If you win, we simply ask you to post and tag us if you enjoy the products and would like to share. If we are mentioned or tagged in any posts, we have the right to repost it.
