American Gardens Clay Pomade
Using a combination of our past formulas of limited batch products we created the new American Gardens Clay Pomade. However, this time we’ve worked out a user friendly experience by creating an aloe-based formula. American Gardens is a 100% washable, vegan formula with 99% plant derived ingredients producing a strong hold with a dry, matte finish. Was looking for a change of pace from wax-based and oil-based clays so I checked this one out. I have fine hair that needs a strong hold to keep it in place. This product can be very tacky and hard to work through hair when it’s dry, but when you work it through damp hair, blow dry, and apply a little more, it’s perfection. I found myself needing to add a little water to my hands to work it through dried hair as well. The hold is very satisfactory. I get pretty good hold for about 8-10 hours. All of this is without even mentioning the great benefits this product’s ingredients provide your hair, body, and environment. Overall, I love this product. It will be my new Clay for the foreseeable future.
My pomade preferences have changed over time, drifting more towards a liking for matte finish, unorthodox waterbases, so this product was right up my alley. Having previously used other Shear Revival products, I had high expectations and the product delivered. You're probably not getting it into your hair without it being damp: it has quite a bit of grip to it. Once in though, it styles easily and has a hold strong enough for my liking, while also having a good matte finish.
I'm a sucker for pomades that reference horror movies or pop culture but this is actually a really good product. Application is easy. I was expecting a little stronger hold but it's still decent. Washes out easy. I 'd expect Patrick Bateman to use something with more shine for a slicked back look but it's still cool. Shipping was within 5 days . All in all good experience dealing with Shear Revial and another solid product.
First time, ever! i write a review on any website, but Shear Revival and this product in particulary deserves it, amazing product, coming from typical Salon Products, this is my first venture into homebrew stuff, and holy sh*t .
I have thick hair, and i found that applying folowing the instructions (damp hair) its realy easy, minimal (really minimal ) tug , it was just really easy to style, so i cant understand why some people says this poduct tugs a lot, i just see two reasons for that, they are applying it on dry hair or their hair is really not in good shape (not healthy) , otherwise appyling it following the instructions, no problem at all.
Final veridict : easy to apply, easy to style, amazing texture and hold.
Some people need to learn what "our strongest & driest product" means and how to watch a review. Do you go to a restaurant and order the spiciest thing on the menu and cry like a dumb entitled baby until they make it weaker and ruin it for everyone else? Order something else.
