Scoop requires the back of the thumb, but once you get it out, breakdown and application is a dream. Smells incredible too, idk how Zach does it with his essential oil scent blends but he’s a magician. Every time this product is available I’ll get one.
This one has been on my list to try since I got into the grease game and kept missing it on it. Once I got a jar it didn’t disappoint! The scent is amazing and the hold is pretty good too. The only thing I don’t like is the scoop. It’s hard as a rock
A classic feeling, medium holding, pleasant smelling, oil based pomade. This is a staple for every for any fan of the Shear Revival brand.
I've made my way through every standard SR product and a few different limited iterations. This is definitively the best product I've ever used. I thought crystal lake was my favorite but it'll have to be my side piece for now. I have thick medium-long hair. TOWK is pretty spot on everything I want in a product - easy application, great scent, good hold, wears light, and I can run my fingers through my hair like a breeze. Sucks for all of you it's sold out! But I will be checking back regularly for the next time it rolls around.
The One Who Knocks:
Nearly broke my pointer finger trying to break through the initial top layer of my new jar of TOWK LOL.
However it breaks down and applies like a dream! And once you get through the rock-hard top layer, the product is a buttery like consistency.
I feel the scent may be polarizing, however I like it. It's kind of a vanilla smokey/oudy scent. I don't know if that's what they were going for but I'm a fan of vanilla and oud scents so it works out for me!
Again, the product applies extremely well and does not tug or pull even a tiny bit for my fine hair (this is rare).
Like other shear revival products, endurance isn't really an issue.
I like the natural shine it gives and the versatility of being able to create a neat/tight look or a looser/lived-in look.
Shear Revival is my favorite brand right now hands down. They have not let me down yet! (except I still can't get Northern Lights to work for me).
Very happy with TOWK.
